Power
Power
Solar Drifter is powered primarily by the sun. Solar energy is converted into:
- 12‑volt power for pumps, lighting, and essential systems
- 48‑volt power for the electric outboard motor
- 120‑volt power for appliances such as the refrigerator and dishwasher
Propane serves as the secondary energy source, powering the stove, BBQ, water heater, and incineration
toilet. This hybrid approach keeps the boat efficient, quiet, and eco‑friendly.
