Week 18 was pretty much the same as week 17. I spent much of the week adding filon to the outer plywood surface of the exterior bulkheads on the port side. After the filon was installed I then added the windows called for by our design and trimed over any seams in the filon and raised the wall sections into place.
The remainder of the aluminum trim we'd ordered still hasn't arrived. You can see an example of the blue aluminum trim covering the ends of each port side platform section. And we had enough to trim all the seams above the port side windows but not enough to finish under the windows. We'll finish up when we get the rest. Next week we'll work on getting the filon installed on the forward starboard (right) side of the houseboat and hoisting all major appliances up onto the deck. Hopefully the rest of the trim will have arrived and we can finish triming the outside. My wrist still isn't 100% after spaining it last month. Maybe next week.
